LE MAILLOT – ONE SIZE FITS ALL brings together a group of performers with diverse artistic practices – dance, photography, fashion, video and athletics – but who share a common passion: soccer. They all come together to work around the soccer jersey and the infinite cultural and physical meaning it evokes. Taking as a starting point the act of pulling on a player’s jersey, the performance attempts to push this gesture to its limits: attenuating the competitive and brutal character to achieve something new.
