Swing & Dream is an immersive installation by the auQuai collective. A scenographic space of games and movement, set in the public space of Les Marolles, both a place for collective creation in “work in progress” and a tableau all in “materials, sounds and colours”!
Residents of Les Marolles, Brussels and elsewhere are invited to take part in a laboratory for collective fabric-based creations: natural dyeing, braiding, weaving, natural paint, assembly, cutting… To create a variety of floating walls with fluid effects to dress a living structure. Swings accentuate movement in this installation, creating a moving, gentle and joyful “handmade” landscape in the heart of the city.
