Marolles district

3 days of artistic experiences

The 2024 edition of Art+People will be shining the spotlight on the Les Marolles district, taking you on a journey to meet the residents, shopkeepers and associations who live there. For over a year now, the team has been throwing itself into this emblematic district, whose hidden gems and treasures are not just to be found in the Place du Jeu de Balle.

The aim of this year’s event is to strike a balance between artistic proposals, the involvement of local residents, raising the profile of little-known places in Les Marolles (both public and private) and interaction with the public on event days.

Art+People poetically invites you to take the time to discover our different projects. Most of the artistic creations on display are the fruit of a longer process, developed throughout the year by the artists and local residents.

On the programme: A choreographed fashion show inspired by the world of football, a photography exhibition on the essence and treasures of the district, a participative and dreamlike installation on Place de l’Epée, a giant rope on Place du Jeu de Balle, a hairdressing salon run by a group of senior citizens, a marching band performance celebrating Moroccan cultures, and so much more to discover..
